[Prepress] Meeting

Good morning!

I would like to have a prepress meeting Tuesday, September 25. At that time we can welcome Alex and go over a few things (hopefully not totally confuse him). 

Few gentle reminders…

Please make sure you are using the correct paragraph style..You should only use “off the grid” if there is math that is touching on the line above or below and adjust leading.

Also - DO NOT add manual spacing between sections with an extra return.

Please match the PDF. We are not adding the word “equation” before (00) in text. Please leave that to Andrew or editorial. 

Still having lots of missing type or wrong type in graphics. Please be careful with the legends. Especially if you are copying and pasting. Double check that the rule matches the description in the legend. A lot of these have been reversed. 

Everyone is doing a great job. We can all be a little more careful. Then there will be less corrections. Which equals efficiency! 

Andrew will discuss some math concerns he is seeing. Please bring any questions, concerns and goodwill to the meeting. I will let you know the time once I talk to Therese.

And the most important question - Bagels, doughnuts, or something else? Let me know. Majority rules.
